Does Telegram have a trademark reporting form?
No. Telegram has no brand or trademark portal. Where impersonation reports actually go, what to include, and what protects customers while you wait.

No. Telegram doesn't offer a brand or trademark reporting portal the way X and Meta do. Reports about accounts impersonating your company go through Telegram's general scam and abuse channels: the in-app Report button, the official @notoscam bot, and email to [email protected].
That one fact explains most of what brands find frustrating about Telegram, and it's why our guide to Telegram impersonation takedowns starts there. Here's where reports actually go, what to put in them, and what protects your customers while Telegram reviews them.
Where impersonation reports go on Telegram
Channel | Use it for | What to know |
|---|---|---|
In-app Report button | Reporting a specific account, message, bot, channel or group | Fastest to file. Each object is a separate report. |
@notoscam bot | Scam and impersonation reports (the verified "Report Impersonation" bot) | Include the username and a one-line reason. |
Spam, scams and abusive content, especially complex cases | Send links, screenshots and proof you represent the brand. Expect no acknowledgement. | |
Copyright claims | Only for content you own the copyright in. It isn't a trademark channel. |
What's missing compared to X and Meta
On X you can file a trademark report alongside an impersonation report, and Meta runs a dedicated brand rights program. Telegram has neither. There is no form that takes a trademark registration number, no queue for verified brands, and no published response time. Your report is reviewed alongside everything else Telegram receives.
Honestly, the missing form isn't the hard part. The hard part is that a Telegram report gives you nothing back, so unless someone on your side owns the follow-up, the fake quietly outlives the ticket.
What Telegram does do
Telegram can add a SCAM or FAKE label to an account it has reviewed. Anyone who opens the profile sees the warning. A label isn't a removal, but for a fake support account it does most of the protective work, because the scam depends on looking official.
Telegram also acts on accounts, bots, channels and groups individually. That's why reporting each object separately matters: banning the account that messaged your customer can leave the bot behind it running.
How to write a report Telegram can act on
The fake's username and t.me link, plus every related bot, channel and group.
A link to your official account or channel, so the reviewer can compare.
Dated screenshots of the impersonating messages.
The link the fake sends people to, if there is one.
One sentence on the harm: "This account poses as [Brand] support and asks customers to connect their wallets."
For email reports, proof you represent the brand, such as a letter of authorization.
What protects customers while you wait
Block the destination. Almost every Telegram scam ends at a link: a drainer, a cloned login, a fake payment page. Once a site is confirmed as phishing, ChainPatrol flags it in 20+ wallets in about 5–10 minutes and in browsers in about 1–3 hours. The account may still be live; the customer who clicks sees a warning first.
Pin the truth in your official group: who your admins are, that support never DMs first, and the one official support link. Then re-file anything still live after a week, with any new evidence you have.
Frequently asked questions
Can a brand protection vendor file trademark complaints with Telegram?
Vendors use the same channels you do. What a vendor adds is complete evidence, reports on every related object, and steady follow-up, not a private door into Telegram.
Should I use [email protected] for a fake account using my logo?
Only if your claim is about copyright, such as copied artwork or content you own. Impersonation and scam reports belong with @notoscam, the in-app Report button, or [email protected].
How long does Telegram take to act on an impersonation report?
Telegram doesn't publish a response time. Plan for it to be slower than X or Meta, and keep re-filing with new evidence.
