Build a verify page customers can check
A verify page lists every official account, handle and domain on your own site. What to include, how to make it findable, and how it helps takedowns.

A verify page is one page on your own website that lists every official account, handle, domain and support channel. When a customer isn't sure a message is real, it gives them one place to check, and it gives your team one link to post under every fake.
It takes an afternoon to build. It pays off every time a customer pauses before clicking. It's a core part of how crypto exchanges stop fake support scams.
What to include
Section | What to list |
|---|---|
Social accounts | Every official handle on X, Telegram, Discord, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and others, with links |
Community spaces | Official Telegram groups and channels, Discord servers, with their exact usernames |
Domains | Your main domain and any others you send email or links from |
Apps | Links to your apps in each official app store |
Support | The one way to reach support, and what support will never ask for |
Staff | Whether named staff ever contact customers directly (most companies should say no) |
Make it findable
Use a short, guessable URL such as /verify or /official.
Link it from your footer, your help center and every pinned community message.
Title it plainly: "Official [Brand] accounts and links". That's what people will search for.
Show a last-updated date at the top.
Keep it maintained
Give it an owner. Add accounts when you launch them, and remove ones you retire. A verify page that lists an old account nobody watches gives a fake a head start.
How it helps takedowns too
Platforms want to see what the real account is before they remove a fake one. A page on your own domain listing your official handles is clean evidence. Link it in every report. We explain the rest of the evidence in how to report business impersonation on X.
Honestly, it's also the fastest public reply your team can give. "That account isn't us. Here's every account that is." One link, every time.
Frequently asked questions
Should the verify page list individual employees?
Only if staff contact customers directly. Most companies should say plainly that staff never do.
Will scammers just copy the verify page?
They may clone it on a lookalike domain, which is one more reason the page should live on your main domain and be linked from everywhere you control.

Fakes of your brand already out there?
ChainPatrol finds them, blocks the links in wallets and browsers, and files the takedowns for you.
