Reply-hijack
A customer tweets that a withdrawal is stuck. Within minutes a fake support handle replies with a link to a cloned login or a form that asks for the seed phrase.

Verification scam
In your Telegram group, a fake admin DMs a new member: “Your account is flagged; verify your wallet here to keep trading.” The page is a drainer.

Wallet validation
A “support bot” offers to fix a failed deposit if the user connects a wallet or sends a small “gas” payment.
Pin the rules
In every official channel: who the admins are, that support never DMs first, and the one official support URL.
Mark your admins
Give admins a consistent visible marker, like a suffix or a badge where the platform allows, so a cloned name looks wrong.
Limit who can reach new members
On Discord, turn off DMs from server members. On Telegram, hide the member list so scammers can't find new joiners.
Publish your official list
A page listing every official handle, link and domain, so customers know where to check.

Sign the authorization
Sign the letter of authorization, and share your official handles and assets.

Confirm edge cases
Confirm fan accounts and staff accounts when we flag them.

Decide on approval
Decide whether to keep an approval step on.
