Dark web monitoring

Find leaked employee credentials before they’re used against you

A staff password in a breach is the shortest path to a hijacked official account, a fake announcement or a cloned admin panel. ChainPatrol finds your employees’ leaked credentials, grades them by risk, and alerts your team in Slack.

How it works

From leak to alert

Your team tells us what to watch. We do the searching and sorting.

1

Track

Add your email domains, staff addresses and wallet addresses as brand assets in the ChainPatrol app.

2

Match

We search dark web leak data and match it to your tracked domains and addresses.

3

Grade

Critical means a plaintext password exposed in the last 12 months, the kind most likely to still work. High covers older plaintext passwords or exposed payment cards. Medium covers hashed passwords or personal data without a password. Low means your address appears with nothing else exposed.

Critical

plaintext password, last 12 months

High, Medium, Low

older, hashed or partial exposures

4

Alert

Your team gets a Slack alert when leaks increase for a monitored domain, and can review findings in the ChainPatrol app with sensitive values masked. Findings export to CSV, and admins can search them through the API.

Coverage

What we monitor

Domains, people and the data inside each leak.

Your email domains

Every address under the domains you track, so a new breach with staff logins shows up without anyone searching for it.

Specific people

Executives and other high-risk staff, tracked by individual address, including personal addresses.

What’s in the leak

Plaintext and hashed passwords, phone numbers, IP addresses, partial addresses and payment card data, where they appear in a leak.

Scope

Where monitoring stops

Dark web monitoring is a visibility layer. Here’s what stays with your team and what goes to our brand protection service.

We alert your team. Password resets, session revocation and access reviews stay with your security or IT team.

We show each finding with recommended next steps. Your team decides what to act on.

If a finding turns into a phishing site or fake account, ChainPatrol’s brand protection service takes it down.

Why it matters

Why this belongs with brand protection

Impersonation often starts with a stolen login. Finding the leaked credential early is the cheapest point to step in.

Leak

A staff password lands in a breach dump or paste site.

Someone tries it on your official social, email or admin accounts.

Takeover

The real account posts a fake giveaway or links to a cloned help center.

Loss

Customers trust it because the account really is yours.

Common questions

No. We alert your team with the finding, its severity and its source. Resets, session revocation and access reviews stay with your security or IT team.
